“Latino Americans” (WETA, MPT at 8): Narrated by Benjamin Bratt, this three-part documentary series chronicles the history of Latinos in the United States.


“I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding” (Bravo at 9): NeNe Leakes of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars in a spinoff with her ex-husband as they tie the knot again.


“The New Atlanta” (Bravo at 10): New reality show proves that just because they’re from the South, it doesn’t mean the city’s young professionals (working in fashion and event planning) are any less cutthroat.


Friday, Sept. 20


“The Watsons Go to Birmingham” (Hallmark at 8): Original movie adapted from the book follows a family on a road trip from Michigan to Birmingham, Ala., in 1963 during a historic summer.


“LT: The Life & Times” (Showtime at 8): Documentary profiles former NFL player Lawrence Taylor, including his off-the-field challenges.

“Genealogy Roadshow” (PBS at 9): People across the country get the chance to uncover family secrets as they delve into the past.


Tuesday, Sept. 24


“Knife Fight” (Esquire Network at 9): Two chefs face off in a cooking competition at a fancy Los Angeles restaurant; hosted by “Top Chef” second season winner Ilan Hall.


“Brew Dogs” (Esquire Network at 10): Scottish beer experts James Watt and Martin Dickie come to America to sample the country’s breweries.


Wednesday, Sept. 25


“The Getaway” (Esquire Network at 9): NBC stars get free trips across the globe and show us mere mortals a few things, beginning with Joel McHale visiting Northern Ireland.


“Boundless” (Esquire Network at 10): Two ultra athletes embark on an extremely difficult endurance challenge all around the world for five months.

“Roman Polanski: Odd Man Out” (Showtime at 9): Follow-up to the 2008 documentary “Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired,” explores the question: did the first film lead to lawyers reopening Polanski’s 30-year-old statutory rape case?


“MasterChef Junior” (Fox at 8): It’s another Gordon Ramsay show, but this time, he’s yelling at kids. Two dozen junior cooks compete to be the best chef.

“Muhammad Ali’s Greatest Fight” (HBO at 8): This film goes behind the scenes as the nine Supreme Court justices decide the outcome of Muhammad Ali’s landmark 1971 case.
