TV highlights: ‘Cassadee Pope: Frame By Frame’ on CMT

Last year, TLC aired a documentary about Lori Allen, the “Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta” shop owner diagnosed with breast cancer. Now, the network airs the new special “Say Yes to the Cure: Lori’s Fight Updated” (TLC at 8 p.m.), which checks in on Lori and the response from viewers.


Ed pulls an “undercover boss” situation and pretends to be a loading dock worker on “Last Man Standing” (ABC at 8) to find out who is causing productivity slowdowns at his company.




Because the contestants undoubtedly all have great senses of humor at this point in the competition, “America’s Next Top Model” (CW at 9) producers play a practical joke and send in a fake director (comedian Reggie Watts) with insane requests during a photo shoot.


Rocker-turned-country singer Cassadee Pope, 24, won first place on the third season of NBC’s “The Voice” and is trying to stay in the spotlight as her first album drops next week. Thus, we have “Cassadee Pope: Frame By Frame” (CMT at 10), a docu-series following her journey to hopeful stardom, beginning with a time-honored tradition for Nashville up-and-comers: the multi-city radio tour.


A pet lover adores her animals so much that some of the critters have snazzier outfits than she owns; naturally, Clinton and Stacy put a stop to this practice on “What Not to Wear” (TLC at 10).


“Elizabeth’s Story: A Meredith Vieira Special” (NBC at 10) features the former “Today” show host sitting down with Elizabeth Smart, who has a book coming out detailing her 2002 kidnapping.


A famous actor follows Danny around as research for a movie role but winds up getting stabbed while in the field; which means Danny must quickly conduct a very quiet investigation to avoid a media frenzy on “Blue Bloods” (CBS at 10).


Humorist Carl Reiner is the interview guest on “Real Time With Bill Maher” (HBO at 10), while the roundtable includes Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.), reporter Suzy Khimm and columnist Reihan Salam.


Actor Tom Selleck, comedian Michael Somerville and musical guest Albert Hammond Jr. are on “Late Show With David Letterman” (CBS at 11:35).


“The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” (NBC at 11:35) hosts former NFL star Terry Bradshaw and rapper Nelly.


Comedian Artie Lange and teen blogger phenom Tavi Gevinson are on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (ABC at 11:35), along with a performance by Phantogram.
