TV highlights: NBC’s ‘TV’s Funniest of the Funniest’

NBC is in a hurry to get rid of “Do No Harm” (NBC at 9, 10), as the network airs back-to-back new episodes of the Dr. Jekyll-and-Mr. Hyde-esque medical drama; the series finale airs next Saturday.

Original movie “Social Nightmare” (Lifetime at 8) is every parent’s worst fear, as a girl with straight A’s in high school finds her college applications threatened when someone posts scandalous pictures of her online.

Sunday talk shows: “Platts Energy Week” (WUSA at 7:30 a.m.) interviews Magellan Midstream Partners’s Michael Mears, Gibson Dunn’s Bill Scherman and Deloitte & Touche’s Bill Hederman; “This Week in Defense News” (WUSA at 8) has Katherine Hammack, assistant secretary of the army for installations, energy and environment, along with Center for a New American Security’s Nora Bensahel and BB&T Capital Markets’s John C. Hagan; “BioCentury This Week” (WUSA at 8:30) features BioCentury’s Steve Usdin, Eric Pierce and Erin McCallister.

“Fox News Sunday” (Fox at 9) hosts Sens. Jack Reed (D-R.I.) and James M. Inhofe (R-Okla.) and Rep. Peter T. King (R-N.Y.) and Mike Baker, former CIA covert operations officer; “White House Chronicle” (WETA at 9) has WBZ NewsRadio’s Joe Mathieu, journalist Robert Whitcomb, entrepreneur Jeff Giesea and Urbanophile’s Aaron Renn; “State of the Union” (CNN at 9) features Reps. Eliot L. Engel (D-N.Y.) and Scott Rigel (R-Va.) and Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.); “This Week” (ABC at 10) features ABC’s Martha Raddatz, Gen. James Cartwright and Johns Hopkins’s Vali Nasr; “Newsmakers” (C-SPAN at 10) talks to U.S. Chamber of Commerce chief executive Thomas Donohue; “This Is America & the World” (WETA at 10 and WHUT at 6 p.m.) talks to Greece ambassador Christos Panagopoulos; “Face the Nation” (CBS at 10:30) talks to Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.) and Timothy M. Kaine (D-Va.).

It’s heating up on “Big Brother” (CBS at 8), as everyone starts hating each other at this point in the competition; on Sunday night, the head of household competition concludes with a new leader being named for the week.

The co-founder of a successful fish taco business heads to Mobile, Ala., to help a homeless shelter on “Secret Millionaire” (ABC at 8).

Encore kicks off a month of James Bond movies every night with the 1962 installment “Dr. No” (at 8), which leads into a two-day marathon of the famed films.

“TV’s Funniest of the Funniest: A Paley Center for Media Special” (NBC at 9) looks back at 60 years of TV comedy, and ranks the top 30 moments from shows, including “I Love Lucy,” “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” “Seinfeld” and “30 Rock.”
